Den is an artist, technologist, and executive who has been lucky enough to contribute to tentpole features, top-tier tv shows, and AAA games. He began his career as a Designer and Art Director in Silicon Valley, and after getting his MFA from USC Cinematic Arts he started as an AD and VFX artist and moved to the technology side when Deluxe hired him to design and build a new VFX facility. Ultimately he became a supervisor and got involved in 3D where he programmed tools used to make 3D conversion of VFX practical. He then worked on pipeline tools for VFX, games, and animation for many years, ultimately becoming department supervisor. After leaving the facility side to join The Redesign Group, he led the creation of Studio-side software and workflows for the Artist Anywhere production platform, managing a team of developers and production specialists and supported over 100 movies, shows, and games.- Ryne Duren was born on 22 February 1929 in Cazenovia, Wisconsin, USA.
